He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer; his siblings, Ella Mae, William, Beverly, Ronald, Marlene and Robert; his parents, George Grim and Ella Grim; and his stepfather John Arnst.
He is survived by: his spouse Geri; his children, Kyle Grim (Maria), Daniel Grim (Shannon), Tanya Grim Chapman and Eric Grim; his stepsons, Richard Renner and Daniel Renner; his siblings, Mary Lou Bohm, Nancy Elsner (John), Gail Watson, Valerie Weigandt, Karen Weigandt (Adam) and Dennis Grim (Suzanne); his stepbrother Leon Arnst; and his sister-in-law Mavis Grim. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
