She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvil Criner and Edith Criner (Howard); her husband George E. Somers; her siblings, Vivian Lover (Robert) and Lloyd Criner (Irene); her brother-in-law Claude Bishop; and her grandson Neal Somers.
She is survived by: her sons, David Somers (Pauline) of Saucier, MS, Phillip Somers (Robin) of Naperville, IL, Stephen Somers of Adrian, MI and Mark Somers (Jennie) of Dearborn, MI.; and her sister Arlis Bishop. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren.
