It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Stephen Ventocilla (Big Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friends, Curt Osborne (Beverly) of Marshall, MI, Bobby Arya of Houston, TX, Ralph Grinnel Jr. of San Antonio, TX and Sam; his parents, Antonio Ventocilla and Corrine Ventocilla (Johnson); his wife Terry Cassidy; his sons, Martin Ventocilla, Michael Ventocilla (Georgina) and Anthony Ventocilla; his stepchildren, Courtney Sokoloski-Zuidema of Grand Ledge, MI, Lindsay Sokoloski-Brinks of Geneva, IL and Adam Beck (Brittannee) of Big Rapids; his grandchildren, Peyton, Carter, Addison, Lexi and Breighlee; and his siblings, Dr. Carmen Ventocilla (Todd Hickox) of Boyne City, MI, Susan Gailey (Mike) of Haslett, MI, Cori Sanslone (Luciano) of Doylestown, PA and Mark Ventocilla (Phyllis) of Spring Lake, MI. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
