He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sims and Arvella Irene Sims (Mason); and his siblings, Sue Rademacher, Rose Terry, Ronald and Michael Sims.
He is survived by: his siblings, Laurie La Rue of Superior, WI, Robert Sims, James Sims (Monica) of Green Bay, WI and Patrick Sims of Big Rapids; his siblings-in-law, Judy Sims of Big Rapids and Joe Rademacher; and his pet Lola. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
