We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2019, at the age of 91, Rowena Louise Hamel (Big Rapids, Michigan), born in Germfask, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Macaulay and Easter Macaulay (Bryers); her husband Robert; her son Stuart; and her siblings, Jean and Max.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Hamel of Largo, FL, Steven (Margo) of Orlando, FL, Dale (Linda) of Millis, MA and Dean (Theresa) of McGaueysville, VA; and her daughter-in-law Laurie Hamel of Big Rapids. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; 1 sister Grace Ahtila; and many nieces and nephews.
