It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray Scharp Jr. (Big Rapids, Michigan), born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scharp and Doris Scharp (Townsley); and his sister Jacquelyn Kay Scott (Scharp). He is survived by: his wife Susie; his sons, Daniel Boone (Tam) of Kingsley and Thomas Scharp of Kingsley; his brother Edgar Scharp (Deb) of Brighton; his stepchildren, Wendy Hawes (Brett) of Cedar Springs and Bryan Marek (Dena) of Big Rapids; and his grandchildren, Haley Troyer (Zach), Mitchell Hawes, Taylor Gibison, Bradley Marek, Taylor Cox Scharp, River Scharp, Eme Scharp, Aiden and Addison Clarke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
