He was predeceased by: his mother Creta Palmer; his uncle James Palmer; and his friend Jim Sims. He is survived by: his wife Sally Pettit; his daughters, Lisa Hayward (Shawn) and Monica Geiger (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Dominic, Jessica Black, Mitchell Jr., Maykala Geiger, Justin, Nathan, Abbie Hayward and Caleb Thorne; his great grandchildren, Miranda, Mason, Michael, Emmy and Kinsley; and his close friends, Bruce Luesby, Clifford Bowen and Ray Gilmore.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, to be used for a charity of their choice.
