She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Withers and Alice Withers (Everitt); her husband Robert John Kailing; her son Timothy; her siblings, Thomas, Gaylord Withers and Gloria; and her brother-in-law Russell Tague.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Kailing (Eva) of Big Rapids, Mollie Cook (Vaughn) of Big Rapids, Maurice Kailing (Tammy) of Paris, Jill Baumgardner (Luke) of Paris, Jodi Doxtater (Matt) of Bloomfield, IA and Erin Dusenberry (Mike) of Encinitas, CA; her siblings, Alicia Games (Larry), David Withers (Peggy), Jessie Kailing (Duane), Dean Withers (Mary) and Dale Withers (Dinah); and her sister-in-law Lois Withers. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Phyllis's name may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church.
