It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis E. Stokely of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Edmore, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Miles and Dorothy Miles (Sharp); her husband Val Stokely Sr.; and her siblings, Wayne, Leon, Steve Miles, Doris Flowers, Shirley Hanner and Joyce Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Val Stokely Jr. of Big Rapids, Jeanne Giroux (Jim) of Grand Rapids, Debra Crandall of Big Rapids and Pete Stokely of Tustin; her grandchildren, Kurt, Walter Crandall, Adam Giroux, Ashley Kardos, Alexis, Allison Stokely and Willow Miller; her great grandchildren, Aja Crandall, Isla, Callium Giroux, Gavin and Tatum Kardos; her siblings, Alice Griffin (Bud), Donna Lewis, Carolyn Bigler and Tom Miles (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Marion Ashley and Ruthann VanWestern. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
