He was predeceased by: his father Walter Porter; his siblings, Steven and Carlene Templeton; and his stepfather Donald Flanigan. He is survived by: his mother Harriette Flanigan (McGeehan) of Big Rapids; his sister Elizabeth Porter-London (Karl) of Big Rapids; his close friend Jeanne Sutherland; his nephew Aarron Franklin; his brother-in-law Steve Templeton; his aunt Connie Munschy; and his stepmother Alice Porter-Kuikstra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
