It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Merrill of Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on December 31, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman; her children, Donna and Douglas; and her parents, Francis Kailing and Dorothy Kailing (Lenahan).
She is survived by: her children, Jack Merrill (Tammy), Gary Merrill (Elizabeth), Susan Stahl (Thomas), Jennifer Norris (Reginald) and Paula Weipert (James); and her siblings, Janette Sanginiti (Anthony) and Gene Kailing (Susan). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Norma's name to Saint Mary Catholic School or Elara Caring Hospice.
