She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Eckels and Edna Olson; and her daughter-in-law Karen LaRock. She is survived by: her parents, Edward Fortin and Susan Fortin (Harter); her husband Nowell; her grandchildren, Tammy VanHouten, Jeromy, Christopher, Michael LaRock, Danielle Hyde and Nicole Kantz; and also, John LaRock (Marika McFarland) of Detroit, James LaRock (Kathy) of Sparta and Annette LaRock of Big Rapids. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
