It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren Sheffer (Big Rapids, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus and Wilma; his wife Alice "Daun" Reams; his brothers, Lee Sheffer (Sue) and Marc Sheffer (Janine); his brother-in-law Ron Buff; and also Sylvia Reams.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Krebs (Alan); his stepsons, Russell "Randy" Reams, Martin "Curt" Reams (Linda) and Sean Reams (Julie); his granddaughter Haley Krebs; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Krebs (Brenda), Jeffrey Krebs, Randi, Zachary, Kayla, Tyler, Justin (Dakota) and Korinne Reams; his sisters, Lynne Palance (Jimmy) and Lisa Buff; his friends, Dave Siegert (Natasha), Bill Olendorf (Bonnie), Russ Greenleaf (Karen) and Linda Bula; and his former wife Diana Wetzel (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
