It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Helen Symon of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Hersey, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Patten and Helen Patten (Goodburn); her husband Walter E. Symon; her sister Norma MacKellar; her grandchildren, Josh Symon (Nicole), Heather Symon Bassett (Justin), Jesse Symon and Nick Symon (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Morgan, Walter, Kayla, Henry, Reese and Leyton; and her sons, Terry and Mike.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made for Elara Caring Hospice, or to Evergreen Terrace.
