He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNeil and Alice McNeil. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Melissa (Timothy), Todd (Shelli) and Mandy (Edward); his grandchildren, Brendan, Bryce, Naomi, Ashlee, Nya, Malachi, Natalie, Janae, Riley, Keziah, Shakoy, Royalty, Rachel, Kevin, Joshua and Miranda; and his siblings, James (Marti), Diane (Tom), Patrick (Andrea), Daniel (Judy), Margaret (Paul) and Mark.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Campus Parish (1 Damascus Rd, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's or Wounded Warriors Project.
