He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Marek and Opal Marek (Fick); and his siblings, Henry Marek, Mary Etzel, Jannie Dexter and Sally Hoffman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Marek (Susan) of Stanwood, Faye Jacobs (Paul) of Grand Rapids, James Marek of Howard City and Peggy Marek of Big Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
