She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Hikaru Metoki Murata of Big Rapids; her children, Sonny of Big Rapids and Sonya Metoki of Big Rapids; her mother Akiko Metoki of Towada City, Japan; her sister Mieko Kawakatsu (Ryoichi) of Tokyo, Japan; and her father Yoshitaka Metoki. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
