He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stephens and Lora Stephens; his former wife Marie Rice; his wife Mary Ann Caterino of Reed City; and his daughter Jamie Kailing.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Stephens of Mt. Pleasant and Kirk Stephens (Monica) of Linden; his brothers, Darrell Stephens (Kathy) of Arkansas and Jack Stephens of California; and his friends, Edee Cady, Char and Ernie Hileman. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
