We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024, at the age of 87, Katherine Kay Martz of Big Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Katherine Kay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Katherine Kay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Winter and Pearl Winter (Young); her husband Alvin Wayne Martz; and her grandsons, Logan Martz and Horace Voorhees.
She is survived by: her children, Scott (Andrea) of Fairbanks Alaska, Linea Laird (Mike) of Bremerton, Amy Hunt (Tim) of Fairbanks, John Martz (Susie) of Big Rapids and Bill Martz (Jane) of Palmer, Alaska. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (408 W Bellevue St, Big Rapids, MI 49307).
