As we bid Karolyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Karolyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie Otto (Grubbe) and Harvey Otto; and her siblings, Keith "Keeter", Kenneth, Kalvin "Punk", Katherine "Tillie", Karl and Kaye (Sam).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home (13985 Northland Dr, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Donating time to people in need, showing up to cook or clean for those enduring hard times, visiting elderly people in nursing homes, and volunteering for hospice are other ways she served people.
