He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Ackroyd and JoAnne Ackroyd (Wilcox); his spouse Laurie Jo; his children, Paula JoAnne Ackroyd, Matthew James Ackroyd and Andrew Joshua Ackroyd (Diana); and his siblings, Ruth Anne Grove (Dean) of York, PA and James Ackroyd (Karen) of Big Rapids. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
