It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Francis Emmons (Big Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Emmons and Dorothy Emmons (Manahan); his wife Joanne C. Gregory; his daughters, Sarah Nutter (David) of Eugene, OR and Dorothy Bancroft (Glenn) of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Neill (Jaclyn), John (Réka), Ian Nutter, Hannah, Heidi and Henry Bancroft; his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anthony, Alyson, Ayden and Tas; his sister Adeline Emmons of Kalamazoo; his sister-in-law Joyce Emmons of Big Rapids; and his siblings, Charles Emmons and Kathleen Course. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for the east entrance improvements.
