It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Clara Emmons of Big Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Francis Emmons; and her brothers, Jerome and Marvin. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Nutter (David) of Eugene, OR and Dorothy Bancroft (Glenn) of Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Neill (Jaclyn), John (Réka), Ian Nutter, Hannah, Heidi and Henry Bancroft; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Anthony, Alyson, Ayden and Tas; her great great grandchild Weston; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Emmons of Big Rapids and Adeline Emmons of Traverse City, MI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
