He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wood and Francis Wood (Counter); his daughter Cynthia Schuberg; his grandson-in-law Jon Horstman; and his brothers, Richard and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Gary Schuberg of Big Rapids; his grandchildren, Bruce Schuberg (Pennie) of California and Melissa Ann Horstman of Cadillac; and his great grandchildren, Ashley Stadler (Cole), Nicholas and Marlee Horstman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made for the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or to Grace Hospice.
