It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Newman (Big Rapids, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Newman and Mabel Newman (Frazier); his son Michael E. Newman; his grandchildren, Kelly Wegenka and Holly Waldron; and his sister Donna Edsall.
He is survived by: his wife H. Delores Darling of Chippewa Lake; his daughters, Pamela Rock of Ruskin and Cindy Newman of Alma; his grandchildren, Sean Newman, Joel Newman, Chelsie Martin and Amy Waldron; and his sister Joyce Dennie. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
