He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin L. Nash and Hedwig Nash (Swanke); and his brother Edwin. He is survived by: his daughter Joanna Katherine Nash of Westchester, Illinois; his wife Janet Slick (Bishop); his son Steve Nash (Sharon) of Bettendorf; his stepchildren, Becki Halloran of Simpsonville and Tom Bishop; his grandchildren, Olivia Veker (Erik), Alexander Butler, Jacqueline Nash, William Nash, Cody Halloran (Lindsay), Keegan Halloran, Travis, Ariel Wing, Nicki and Avery Moreno; and his great grandchild Erik Carl Veker Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Janet L. Nash and Dr. E.G Nash scholarship fund (Ferris State University).
