He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cross and Dorothy Cross (Seaman); his stepmother Lillian Cross; his stepbrother Ron Bregg; and his sister Carol Allers.
He is survived by: his wife Marie of Big Rapids; his daughters, Lisa Kohn (Larry) of Hersey, Tara Lee (Cory) of Chippewa Lake and Tammi Cross of Hersey; his grandchildren, Jessilyn VanEss, Marisa Kunitzer (Eric), Kaytlyn Cross, Zachary Kohn (Paytyn Schopieray), James Lee, Connor Lee and Gregory Randall; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Henry, Kevin and Laron; his sisters, Pat Howell (Jerry), Judy Finch (Ed) and Gayle Brynelsen (Sparky); his siblings-in-law, Eileen Brady, Kay Freeland, David Allers, Richard Schohl (Kris) and Bud Schohl (Jo); and his aunt Velma Seaman of Big Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions in Don's name may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Spectrum Health Hospice.
