He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lerew and Marvel Lerew (Beardslee); and his brother Robert Lerew. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Lisa Hodges (Steve), David Lerew (Julie), Cherie VanEssen (Bob) and Karen Weber (Mark); his grandchildren, Patrick Hodges (Chrissy), Nick Hodges (Maria), Emily Lerew (Tony Hettler), Allison Coblentz (Trevor), Brianna Ewigleben, Shelby Ewigleben, Kristen Verrill, Alex Verrill and Dayne Weber; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Nevaeh, Natalie, Christopher, Claire and Dax; his nephew Eric Lerew (Tara); and his niece Denise Spiegal (Barry).
Memorial contributions may be made in Dave's name to Artworks in Big Rapids and the Dave and Shirley Lerew Scholarship Endowment through The Ferris Foundation.
