He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Allen and Luella Mathilda Maxon (Leveque); his wife Lori Jo Teske; his sisters, Judy Miller and Joyce Holsworth; his brothers-in-law, Roy Holsworth, Don Whiteside, Glen Miller and Ronald Lintemuth; and his nephew Doug Maxon.
He is survived by: his former wife Cheryl Ann Goodburn; his children, Kathyrn Marie, Kathy Wertanen (Scott) and David Maxon, Jr.; his grandsons, Jason Holland, Jacob and Lucas Maxon; his stepsons, Lenny (Amy) and Eli Teske (Jamie); his stepgrandchildren, Anne-Marie and Levi Teske; his siblings, Donald Maxon (Maxine), Louis Maxon (Sue), Donna Whiteside, Carol Lintemuth, Claudia Miller and Theresa Maxon-VanVels (Jim Dennis); and his brother-in-law Raymond Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bruce's name may be made to the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont, MI.
