He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spaulding and Constance Spaulding (Bawcom). He is survived by: his wife Inge Spaulding of Big Rapids; his daughter Karen (John Kuikstra) of Big Rapids; his siblings, Craig (William) and Susan Keenan (Troy) of Louisiana; and his aunt Betty Donald of Louisiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
