We bid farewell to Carolyn Sue Marcinkewciz of Big Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Carolyn Sue touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Rice and Genevieve Rice (O'Boyle); her husband Tony Marcinkewciz; and her sons, John and Erick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jack Rice of Edgerton, Wisconsin and Janice Montague (Peter) of Reed City; her grandchildren, Tony Marcinkewciz (Madyson), Tyler Marcinkewciz (Annabella), Gwen and Evan Marcinkewciz; her great grandchild John Clemens Marcinkewciz; her daughters-in-law, Deb Marcinkewciz and Shelley Waldron; her close friend Bob Hayes; and her sister-in-law Rosalie Witbeck.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home (128 S Warren Ave, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (408 W Bellevue St, Big Rapids, MI 49307).
Memorial contributions in Carolyn's name may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran School.
