We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2022, at the age of 98, Betty Jean Hosking of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Hancock, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Chapman and Grace Chapman (Carlson); her husband Richard "Jack" Hosking; her son Robert; and her siblings, Myron Chapman, Marge Uren and Doris Knudsen.
She is survived by: her sons, James Hosking (Helene) of Downers Grove, IL and David Hosking (Suzanne) of Big Rapids; her daughter-in-law SueEllen Hosking of Spread Eagle, WI; and her grandchildren, Jaclyn Smith (Graegar), Meredith Hosking (Mark Donoho), Allison Nemesi (Rich), Kate Mohar (Joe), Erik Hosking (Rachel), Carlyn Hosking, Michael Hosking (Yoshita), Patrick Hosking (Alexandra), Ryan Hosking and Elizabeth Hosking.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Big Rapids, or the Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain.
