It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Irene Smith of Big Rapids, Michigan, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on August 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolla "Tex" and Hildegard Spaugh (Jansen); her husband Bryan Lee Smith; her siblings, James, Richard Spaugh, Lela Graham, Treva Herring and Judith Overmyer; her siblings-in-law, Mary Spaugh, James Wollert and Terry Overmyer; and her niece Michelle Herring.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gene Spaugh (Sharon) of Chippewa Lake, Jeanette Wollert of Flushing and Vickie Coon (Seth) of Big Rapids; and her nephew Christopher Coon.
