She is survived by: her children, Judith Van (Grace Marlowe), Holly, Susan Van Meter of Big Rapids and Larry Michael Van Meter (Katrina) of Keego Harbor; her granddaughters, Tina Marie Reynolds (Bob Wahl) and Cynthia Renee Long (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Logan, Paige, Gwyn Reynolds, Nicholas and Peyton Long; and her friends, Peggy and Robin.

Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association in Honor of Glenn Rose (Barbara's deceased brother).
