He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Harris and Mizzie Harris (Wilson); his wife Eathyl Schuberg; and his sons, Shawn of Big Rapids, Ron (Linda) of Big Rapids, Gene (Sherry) of Lansing and James (Mary Ann) of Rockford. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Gene's family will greet friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, and memorial contributions in his name may be made for the church.
