He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva VanAlstine and Clarice VanAlstine (Lantz); his sister Jean; and his brother-in-law Leo Thurston. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Jean Beaumont; his child Glen; his grandchildren, Tiffany Crisman (Jason), Stephanie Burns (Dell), Caraline Milliken (Tony), Shellie Conner, Rosemary Chvojka (Matt) and Raina Sprague (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jayla, Lucas, Jacob, Tyler, Bruce, Brandon, A. J., Haileigh, Tricia and Josh; his brothers, Roger VanAlstine (Donna) and Lynn VanAlstine (Connie); and his pets, Chloe and Lexi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
