She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael McGuire and Myrtle McGuire (Siegler); her husband Forrest Alden Burns; her sons, Timothy and Jody Burns; and her brother Darold McGuire.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Charles Burns (Jean) of Iron Mountain, Michael Alden Burns of Marquette and Karen Burns-DeForest (Dan) of Big Bay; her sisters, Lavonne Gaspar of Marquette and Leanne Cornelia of Amasa, MI; her aunt Violet Kossmann; her sister-in-law Carol; and her caregiver Jamie. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
