He was predeceased by: his parents, June A Nye (Hiles) and John Daniel Nye; and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his children, Madeline Dodge (Jake) of Ishpeming, Amanda Stevenson of Salida, CO, Jesse Nye (Amanda) of Negaunee and Andrew Nye (Stephanie) of Fort Collins, CO; his grandchildren, Daniel, Samuel, Thelonious, Gabrielle, Alex, Dominic, James and Charlotte; his sister Joy Nye of Muskegon; and his former wife Sandra Nye of Negaunee.
