It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Roney-Hays of Beverly Hills, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sybil Perry; her adoptive parents, Harry J. Loynd and Myrtle Loynd; and her former husband Chuck "Chicky" Roney. She is survived by: her husband Sam Hays; her stepdaughters, Kim Hays and Kelly Hays; her daughters, Lauren Brown (Tim Mayer) and Heather Farabee (Brad Farabee); her grandchildren, Hope Hays (Mario Alonzo), Ethan Farabee (Jamie), Evan Farabee and Ella Farabee; and her sister-in-law Kathy Hays (Bill Leahy).

In lieu of flowers or charitable gifts, Sandy believed in "Paying It Forward" and asks that anyone interested in gifting, please give directly to those in need in your neighborhood.
