He is survived by: his siblings, Charlotte Hatcher, Larry Antrim and Mike Walden (Ruthene); his children, Kimberly Rainey (Kerry), Daniel Antrim and Angela Hensley; his stepdaughters, Michelle Moody and Shae Jimenez (Frank); and his wife Marilyn.

During the pandemic, day trips to nearby campuses relieved the tedium of not being able to travel.
