She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Safran; her children, Flint Wainess and Dr. Reid Wainess (Erin); her grandchildren, Link Wainess, Tate Wainess and Ezra Safran; her brother Richard Burstein (Gayle); and her former husband Dr. P. Steven Wainess. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and a world of friends.
