He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Syoen; his brother Gabriel Huvaere (late Ralph); his sister-in-law Adriene Reygaert (late Maurice); his parents, Justin Syoen and Zoe Syoen; and his parents-in-law, Cyril and Emma Barbary.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Sue Ann Syoen and Gregory Syoen (Pamela); his grandsons, Steven Syoen (Katie) and Kevin Syoen; his great grandchild John Steven Syoen; his brother-in-law Jerome Barbary (late Irene); and also Marie. He is also survived by 34 nieces & nephews and great-nieces & great-nephews.
