She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louise Elizabeth Rowe and Col. Orman Rowe; her sister Prudence Cashbaugh; her husband Robert F. McDougall; and her children, R. Bruce A. McDougall and Rachel L. McDougall.

She also played piano for friends and family and after retirement, donated her services at nursing homes as well as BACN in Benzie County.
