She is survived by: her husband Ted Schmalz; her great-niece Teddi Hubert; her siblings, Raymond (Gloria) of White Pine, Brian of Wakefield and Marguerite Koski (Allan) of Negaunee; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Lorenson of Ironwood.
