She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Karns and Ethel Karns; her husband Steve Cernak; and her siblings, Paul Karns, Jr., Norma Palmer, Phyllis Devos and Pat Simmonis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Baltazar (Rafael) of Keller, Penny Lausch-Sanders of Three Oaks, Sandy Gluchowski (John) of Berrien Springs and Shelly Murphy (Martin) of Yankeetown, Florida; and her sister Ann Marie Miltenberger of Niles. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with another on the way; and many extended family members and close friends.
