We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2021, at the age of 68, Mark Dean Lavanture (Berrien Springs, Michigan) passed away. He is survived by: his parents, Dean LaVanture and Mary LaVanture; his wife Patricia LaVanture; his siblings, Dana LaVanture, Sarah Hug, Rebecca Hernandez and John LaVanture; his children-in-law, Brody Hug, Henry Hernandez and Donna LaVanture; his grandchildren, Jared, Lexie, Axel Hug, Judah and Risi Hernandez; his siblings, Karyn LaVanture and Brad LaVanture; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy LaVanture, Linda Ronjak, Michael Junge, Mark Junge and Gary Ronjak. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, their spouses, and children.

Mark battled with Covid-19 for just over 8 weeks, spending the last 7 weeks of his life at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.
