We bid farewell to Diva Jewell Chastain of Berrien Springs, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 22, 2025 at the age of 95. Diva Jewell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Ollis Staton and Emily Staton (Brashears); her siblings, Bert, Delmer, Wendell, Faye and Phyllis; her husband Harry Chastain; and her children, Eddie Chastain, Regina Pallas and Beverly Chastain.
She is survived by: her children, Pat McCarty (Stephen Lafluer) and Ken (Judy); and her grandchildren, Cheri Morales, Kimberli Nagy, Toni Davis, Chet McCarty, Sheila Snyder, Stephanie Martin, Missy DeForest, Jodi Haygood, Beth Davey, Marie Medic, Mike McCarty, Brandi Hayes and Katy Boots. She is also survived by 39 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Diva's memory and honor to the American Cancer Society.
