He is survived by: his wife Florine Reisig; his children, John Kugel (Teresa) of Berrien Springs, Pam Kugel of Benton Harbor and Mike Kugel (Meghan) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Brooke, Greg, Courtney, Andrea, Gabrielle, Lauren, Connor, Collin, Levi, Mason and Emme; his great grandchildren, Reese, Simone, Owen and Julian; and his sisters, Rosemary Burch and Kathy Tomasi (Nick).
