He was predeceased by: his parents, Rado Reiner and Elizabeth Reiner (Olson); his wife Patricia Ann Reiner (Troyer); and his children, Michael Reiner and Joy Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his children, Betheny Jones (Sylvannus) and Kevin Reiner (Karen); his grandchildren, Angelique Zimmerman, Christine Zeerip, Dina Zimmerman, Kailee Zimmerman, Elayna McFarland, Kyle Reiner, Kaleb Reiner, Kalyse Reiner and Khenzie Reiner; and his sister Donna Henderson. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
