It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen John Simko Sr. of Berrien Center, Michigan, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simko and Margaret Simko (Kiacz); his brother Joseph; and his granddaughter Lindsay O'Dell. He is survived by: his spouse Lillyan Adent; and his children, Karen O'Dell of Berrien Center, Stephen Simko (Jennifer) of Berrien Center, Diana Mead (Tim) of Niles, John Simko of Eau Claire, Patricia Null (Scott) of Granger and Dean Simko (Kristen) of Branchburg. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services (615 E Main St, Niles, MI 49120). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (219 S State St, Niles, MI 49120).
